Judith Roeder’s artistic devotion animates the seemingly trivial by ennobling it. Her projects define and celebrate moments of great simplicity. There is a curtain moving, a person under a blanket, breath forms space. The everyday life is observed and the seemingly insignificant is filtered out. Nothing is declared as a sensation. The artist draws attention to the beauty of the secondary and in that way enriches us. She preserves the overlooked from becoming forgotten.
