Bettina Pelz is curatorial adviser for the ON PLINY’S PATHS program.

BACKGROUND

Her focus of curatorial research and practice is on light and light-based media in contemporary fine arts. She has been the founding curator of several sustainable light and media art projects in Europe and Africa. She is dedicated to art-in-context projects.

Her exhibition projects are hosted at art institutions and in public space, in postindustrial ensembles and cultural heritage environments. Internationally, she has been involved in projects in Austria, Belgium, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Jordan, Mali, Mexico, The Netherlands, North-Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Senegal, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland, and Tunisia.
